As it indicates, Wahab also went on unofficial visits to both schools before receiving the offers. It should come as no surprise that both the Pirates and Johnnies are targeting him, as he stands as one of the best for 2019 at this point.
At the moment, the 6-foot-11, 235-pound power forward out of Ashburn, Virginia ranks sixth among players in his state. Four-star Oscar Tshiebwe of Grundy leads the charge in that department, with Oak Hill’s Ashton Hagans, Richmond’s Armando Bacot and Aundre Hyatt around him as well. Wahab ranks 17th among power forwards at this point and is in the Top 100 for 2019, ranking 77th overall.
At the moment, he holds offers from Clemson, UMass, Rutgers and Pitt among others.
