After four successful seasons at Villanova, former Big East Player of the Year Josh Hart has been drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 30th in the first round.

Hart is Villanova’s first first-round pick since Kyle Lowry back in 2006.

Last season, Hart averaged about 19 points, six rebounds, and two assists per contest. His exceptional play earned him numerous honors, including the 2017 Julius Erving Award, as well as being named a First-Team All-American by Sporting News, and also making the All-Big East First Team.

His career at Villanova was also dominated by an immense amount of team success. During Hart’s four years in Philadelphia, the Wildcats won a NCAA Championship, as well as four Big East regular season championships.

Best of luck to Josh Hart in Los Angeles!
