For the first time since 2014, a Creighton Bluejay has been selected in the first round of the NBA Draft!
The Minnesota Timberwolves selected Creighton center Justin Patton with the 16th pick of the first round of the NBA Draft Thursday night.
Patton, the reigning Big East Freshman of the Year, made a big impact in his lone season at Creighton, averaging 12.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while shooting a staggering 67% from the field.
Congratulations to Justin Patton, and best of luck to him in Minnesota!
