The Xavier Musketeers are now in pursuit of a 2019 Missouri shooting guard.

As his tweet entails, Xavier is the ninth school to send the St. Louis product a scholarship offer. The DePaul Blue Demons have also shown interest in McKinney, having offered him back on November 29 of last year. The Kansas State Wildcats, Auburn Tigers, Southern Miss Golden Eagles, Tulsa Golden Hurricane, Saint Louis Billikens, Missouri Tigers and Duquesne Dukes are the other seven to offer him at this point in time.
You might hear Mario McKinney’s name a bit more as time progresses, as he stands as one of the better players in the class of 2019. McKinney is ranked 98th overall in the country for 2019, 14th at his position and third in the state of Missouri. Only small forward Marcedus Leech of Poplar Bluff and Ousame Ndim, a center also hailing from St. Louis, are ranked higher than McKinney in the Show Me State. He’s listed as a four-star player via 247Sports Composite at this point in time.
