For the second straight season, Xavier guard/forward Trevon Bluiett has decided to return to school following the NBA Draft process.
Jon Rothstein had the news first.
Trevon Bluiett is returning to Xavier next season, per a source. Entered 2017 NBA Draft without an agent. HUGE Big East news.

Bluiett had until Wednesday’s deadline to decide on his future. Former teammate Edmond Sumner announced a few weeks back that he would be remaining in the Draft.
Bluiett averaged 18.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for the Musketeers last season, and played a pivotal role in keeping them afloat following Sumner’s injury. As a result, Xavier had a run to the Elite Eight.
Bluiett’s return will have a huge impact for Xavier, who also have their best recruiting class in school history this season. The senior guard/forward will likely be hungry for his swan song to culminate in the first Final Four appearance in Musketeers history.
