The Villanova Wildcats have made the cut for an elite 2018 player’s Top 8.
Cameron Reddish (Norristown, PA) included ‘Nova among a crop of eight teams according to recruiting analyst Pat Lawless.
Class of 2018 wing Cameron Reddish tells me, he has cut his list down to Duke, Kentucky, Villanova, Miami, Arizona, Maryland, UConn & UCLA.

As the above tweet entails, Reddish also has the Duke Blue Devils, Kentucky Wildcats, Miami Hurricanes, Arizona Wildcats, UConn Huskies and UCLA Bruins in the mix as well. So, Jay Wright and his staff will be competing with the best of them in the pursuit of the top player in the state of Pennsylvania.
In addition to being the best that the Keystone State has to offer, Reddish is the fourth-best player in America in the 2018 class and the second-best player at his position. Only Marvin Bagley, Zion Williamson and Romeo Langford rank ahead of him nationally and Williamson is the lone player to be in front of him at his position. Needless to say: Cameron is an elite player who would help any team that he decides to go to.
It’s early right now of course, but the Blue Devils appear to be out in front of everyone right now. 11 of the 11 predictions made on 247Sports’ Crystal Ball have Reddish bound for Durham, including two predictions made in the month of May.
