The Marquette Golden Eagles got good news on the recruiting trail Tuesday morning when 2017 guard Greg Elliott announced he had chosen Marquette over Providence and Michigan State. Elliott is a 6’3 guard at East English Village Prep in Detroit.

He is ranked 171st in the class of 2017 by 247Sports’ composite national ranking and was a finalist for Michigan’s Mr. Basketball. Elliott was also heavily pursued by the Providence Friars and Michigan State Spartans and took official visits to both of those schools, in addition to visiting Marquette back on March 4th.
