Chris Holtmann and the Butler Bulldogs have been a perfect pairing so far in Holtmann’s three-year tenure.
That pairing will continue well into the next decade, as both sides have agreed to an extension per a release from the university.
Holtmann’s name has come up for open coaching jobs occasionally in the past two years, so it’s easy to see why Butler wants to take every precaution to lock him up.
In his three years as head coach, the Bulldogs are 70-31, 34-20 in Big East play, and have won at least one NCAA Tournament game each season.
