Report: Villanova center Darryl Reynolds will play Saturday against Georgetown

Reynolds has missed the past five games with a rib injury

NCAA Basketball: Villanova at Marquette Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

After missing the previous five games with a rib injury, Villanova Wildcats center Darryl Reynolds will be suiting up for ‘Nova’s season finale against Georgetown on Saturday afternoon.

Reynolds’ return comes at a great time for the Wildcats, who will be looking to win the Big East Tournament en route to their bid to repeat as NCAA Champions.

In the five games without Reynolds, Villanova went 4-1. However, depth has been a concern for the Wildcats this season as Reynolds is just one of seven players who has seen the floor for more than 45% of Villanova’s minutes this season.

In 25 games this season, Reynolds is averaging 5.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
