Draft season is steadfast approaching. Already on Tuesday night, we’ve seen that L.J. Peak of the Georgetown Hoyas is reportedly set to hit the NBA, and it appears that two members of the Seton Hall Pirates will be testing the waters at the very least.
Pirates forward Angel Delgado and guard Khadeen Carrington are set to enter the NBA Draft but won’t be hiring agents. The news comes to us from CBS/FanRag Sports insider Jon Rothstein.

With the new draft rules in place, it would be silly to not test the waters of the draft if you think you’re up to snuff. Those rules allow for players to see their evaluation before making a commitment towards going pro or staying in college for another year. We’ve seen players do that and jump ship and come back to the crew for another go-around. We’ll see what Delgado and Carrington’s futures are when the time approaches.
This past season, Angel and Khadeen were both extremely solid, with Delgado being one of the best players in the Big East Conference. He averaged a double-double, posting 15.2 points and 13 rebounds per game while shooting 54.3 percent. Carrington meanwhile scored 17.1 points per game on a mark of 42.4 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from the 3-point line. All were jumps from his marks as a sophomore.
Neither Delgado nor Carrington are featured in DraftExpress’ most recent mock draft. Angel is ranked 52nd among juniors in the NCAA while Khadeen is not listed.
Update: Khadeen Carrington and Angel Delgado have each commented on the report, stating that they have not made their decision yet.
I haven't made my decision. I am going to have a discussion with my family and my coaches next week. pic.twitter.com/fJa7XYdEIu
