The Seton Hall Pirates’ era of prominence gains another leg with their second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance in 2017.

The Hall, who went 21-11 in 2017 with a Big East Tournament semifinal appearance, have made back-to-back NCAA Tourney appearances for the first time since the P.J. Carlesimo era. The Pirates made it four straight years from 1990-1994, and now Kevin Willard has achieved something that George Blaney, Tommy Amaker, Louis Orr and Bobby Gonzalez could not.

Angel Delgado and the Pirates will open up their NCAA Tournament stay against the Arkansas Razorbacks of the SEC. That game will be taking place in Greenville, South Carolina on Friday. If the Pirates win, they’ll likely take on the No. 1 seeded North Carolina Tar Heels in the Round of 32.
