As the season draws to a close, the Georgetown Hoyas and DePaul Blue Demons find themselves in similar, yet different, places.
DePaul is 1-13 in Big East play and has clinched the 10-seed in next month’s Big East Tournament.
Georgetown is 5-9 in Big East play and currently sitting in ninth place in the conference, but with just one game of separation between the ninth and sixth spots, the Hoyas need to start making some progress to attempt to avoid playing on Wednesday night at the Big East Tournament for the second straight season.
Some of the best scorers in the Big East will be on display in Georgetown’s Rodney Pryor (18.2 PPG, 3rd) and LJ Peak (16.8 8th). DePaul will look to counter with Eli Cain (16.1 PPG, 10th) and Billy Garrett (14.6, 16th).
