The Bulldogs continued to do Bulldog-like things today with an 82-66 win at Hinkle Fielhouse over DePaul. It was a sellout today at Hinkle (Not to mention the free shirts for everyone too!!!!!!!) to go along with the white-out theme.
Look at these shirts guys.

For the record, this wasn’t a shameless plug for Mountain Dew; I really don’t like it that much. But they were promo-ing it at the game today, so this was the only picture I could find.
But the Dawg fans were already happy about the free shirts, so no wonder they came in droves to watch KELAN MARTIN MAKE HIS GRAND RETURN, PART TWO.
Okay... he only scored 14 points, fine. But he also had eight rebounds and an assist. So, we are on the upswing after the 19-point performance against St. John’s earlier in the week!
DePaul kept things interesting as the first half was winding down, but Butler ended the half on a 12-0 run to give them the nine point advantage going into the locker room. BU stretched the run to 21-0 to start the second half, and the Blue Demons were never really back in the game after that.
DePaul’s Eli Cain was a stud as per usual with 24 points, six rebounds and three assists. The next highest scorer for the Blue Demons was Joe Hanel with 10 points and five rebounds. Very solid performance from a guy who has been averaging 4.7 ppg this season.
The Bulldogs had four (!!) players score in double figures including Martin, Avery Woodson (12), Tyler Lewis (10) and the team’s high-roller, Nate Fowler, with 15 points, just two shy of his career high.
The only stat that really matters is that Butler’s Steven Bennett had three points, but here are the rest for your enjoyment.
