As seen in the above screencap, the Villanova Wildcats and Butler Bulldogs have maneuvered their way into the Top 4 seedlines. ‘Nova is the No. 1 overall seed to this point in time, while Butler is the second-best 4 seed at this moment. The ‘Cats are currently projected to play out in the East Region while the ‘Dawgs meanwhile would be playing in the South Region.
‘Nova’s region is certainly challenging as they are currently playing alongside the Louisville Cardinals, Kentucky Wildcats and UCLA Bruins. Butler meanwhile would have to tangle up with the Baylor Bears, North Carolina Tar Heels and Florida Gators. Suffice it to say, Villanova was given no favors despite having the No. 1 overall seed, and Butler would have their work cut out for them too in their region.
