The Georgetown Hoyas have announced that 7-foot-3 freshman center Chris Sodom has been released from the team for violating team rules. The decision was made public on Tuesday afternoon.

In his short playing career, Sodom played 27 minutes in six games, recording four points, eight rebounds, three blocks and 11 fouls.

With Sodom no longer on the roster and Trey Mourning medically redshirting this season, 6-foot-9 freshman Antwan Walker is the lone remaining Hoya with any size left on Patrick Ewing’s bench. It remains to be seen how Georgetown will adjust to its newly-minted smaller roster, but the team will have just under 30 hours to figure it out before hosting North Texas tomorrow evening at the Capital One Arena.
