All-Time Record:

Seton Hall is 6-1 all time against the Rams, having played each other multiple times since 1941. They last met in 2012, where Seton Hall won 60-55.

What to Look for:

Both teams have started the season 4-0. Seton Hall shook off a pesky NJIT in the 2nd half behind an 18-2 run. Desi Rodriguez's 19 points swung the tide and helped keep the Highlanders at bay. Delgado was held out for most of the game after he tweaked his calf. Freshman center Sandro Mamukelashvili filled the gap, chipping in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Seton Hall will be coming into this game sans Jordan Walker, who will be out indefinitely with a thumb injury.

Rhode Island is coming to Brooklyn after notching a 22 point victory against Holy Cross. Senior Guard Jared Terrell lit up Holy Cross for 23 points. Senior Forward Andre Berry joined in on the action and chipped in 20 himself.

For tonight, the match-up between Seniors Desi Rodriguez and Jared Terrell will be exciting to see, although both Jordan Walker and EC Matthews will be missed. Terrell is doing it all for the Rams this season, averaging 15 points and 4 rebounds through 3 games. Dunkin' Desi is averaging 17 points through 4 games for the Pirates.

Delgado, if he gets his minutes, will have a field day against the undersized lineup for Rhode Island. The matchup problems that Michael Nzei and Ismael Sanogo swing this game in favor of the Pirates. Rhode Island has many capable Guards, however the lack of size up front is a major weakness against this front court.
