Earlier this week, the DePaul Blue Demons surfed up to the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and offered two Class of 2021 prospects. One of them was Rolling Meadows guard Max Christie. Christie’s UAA team, the Illinois Wolves, made the announcement of his offer on their Twitter account.
ILLWolves 2021 F 6'8 Chris Hodges Schaumburg & 2021 G 6'4 Max Christie Rolling Meadows receive scholarship offer from DePaul HC Dave Leitao— Illinois Wolves (@WolvesILL) November 13, 2017
As the tweet indicates, the other player to receive an offer was Christie’s teammate Chris Hodges of Schaumburg.
At this point, DePaul is the lone school to offer the incoming freshman at Rolling Meadows High School. The Blue Demons appear to be doing their due diligence on him and are getting a head start on the 6-foot-4 shooting guard, who has obviously impressed enough to land his first D1 offer.
As of now, Max Christie is unranked and unrated by recruiting services.
