Jay Wright and the Villanova coaching staff were busy on Thursday afternoon, as they reached out to a pair of high-caliber 2018 recruits.
Villanova has offered top-50 guard Courtney Ramey; head coach Jay Wright is now completing an in-home visit with Tyler Herro— Corey Evans (@coreyevans_10) October 26, 2017
As noted above, Ramey was committed to Louisville before the FBI corruption saga began. The St. Louis native has been highly sought after in the time since, with Missouri, Marquette, Ohio State, and Texas all reaching out.
It’s easy to see why Villanova, in particular, would be interested. If Jalen Brunson departs for the NBA after this season and Jahvon Quinerly doesn’t work out, Ramey would be a phenomenal option.
