After Myles Carter was dismissed from Seton Hall last season, the Pirates became one of the only Big East teams without a Chicago-area player on their roster.
They continued to try to fix this last week when they offered 2018 forward Austin Richie of Chicago Heights, IL.

Seton Hall is the first Big East team to offer Richie, who has offers from Illinois-Chicago, Northern Illinois, and other schools.
With Angel Delgado, Ish Sanogo, Desi Rodriguez, and Khadeen Carrington all set to graduated after this season, the Pirates have a lot of holes they’re going to need to fill, so they’re casting a pretty wide net on the recruiting circuit. Richie is their sixteenth offer of the class.
We generally like to end these types of posts with a highlight video of the player, but there’s not much video out there about Richie, which will certainly change over time. In the meantime, enjoy a song by Lionel Richie, who, as far as I know, is not related to Austin.
