Cooper Neese, now a former Butler Bulldogs commit, transferred to Indiana State on Monday. The news of Neese’s transfer to the Sycamores program was first reported by Rick Semmler.
Big News! Its Official....Butler transfer Cooper Neese will continue his college basketball career at Indiana State....

With regards to his eligibility, the Cloverdale, Indiana native won’t officially suit up for ISU until the second semester of the 2018-19 season. Until then, Neese will be able to of course participate in practices. But he will have all four years of his eligibility once he finally hits the floor.
This move shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. Cloverdale is merely less than 40 miles away from Terre Haute, where Indiana State is located. Given the reasons that Neese relayed for his transfer from BU, his school of choice here is likely the best case scenario for him.
Best of luck to Cooper when he finally takes the floor for the Sycamores. And an added best of luck to him finding the happy medium he desires.
