2017 3-star forward Andre Rafus cuts list, includes Georgetown

One Big East school remains in the chase.

The Georgetown Hoyas haven’t had many things go their way over the past few months. However the Hoyas received a bit of good news on Sunday night regarding their status in the race for 3-star 2017 small forward Andre Rafus Jr.

The Hoyas, along with the Kansas Jayhawks and TCU Horned Frogs, are the final three schools that Rafus Jr. has in the mix per his personal Twitter account.

As of now it appears that the Baltimore, Maryland native is likely headed to TCU. Of the 12 predictions made on 247Sports for his future destination, all of them have him bound for Fort Worth to play for Jamie Dixon. Nevertheless, the race isn’t over quite yet so perhaps the fact that Georgetown is still in the hunt leaves them with a little bit of opportunity to swoop in.
