College basketball weekly rankings: Four Big East teams in top 15 of AP Poll

The top of the Big East continues to impress.

Four Big East teams remain in the top 25, but there was some movement across the board this week.

Villanova, following its loss to Butler, fell from #1 to #3.

Creighton hopped up two spots from #10 to #8. This marks the highest AP Poll ranking in Creighton history.

After upsetting Villanova at Hinkle Fieldhouse, the Butler Bulldogs rose six spots, going from #18 to #12.

Finally, the Xavier Musketeers, winners of six games in a row, hopped up a spot to #15.

Seton Hall just missed the cut, landing in the first “OTHERS RECEIVING VOTES” spot.

If the Pirates can pick up road wins over Marquette and Providence this week, they could certainly find themselves at #25 next week.
