Hart and Baldwin both helped their teams go 2-0 on the week, as Villanova defeated Seton Hall and Providence, while Butler defeated DePaul and Marquette.
Hart led all scorers in Villanova’s victory over Providence with 25 points, and also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists. Hart is leading the Big East in scoring at 19.2 points per game.
Baldwin scored 18 points in both of Butler’s victories, and made big plays on both sides of the ball in the Bulldogs’ 70-69 overtime victory against DePaul. Baldwin has been a go-to threat for Butler as some of their other scorers have struggled at times in conference play.
