Following a string of issues including a recent arrest for theft earlier this January, St. John’s has decided to release 2017 center Zach Brown from his National Letter of Intent.
The news was first reported on Wednesday afternoon by NY Post writer Zach Braziller.

As mentioned, Brown had found himself in trouble earlier this month after being arrested for petty theft. This was the second such arrest in the calendar year for Brown, who will still be allowed to pursue other opportunities with member institutions of the NCAA.
