The Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 list was released on Wednesday afternoon, and three Big East players made the cut!

Villanova’s Josh Hart, Creighton’s Maurice Watson, Jr., and Butler’s Kelan Martin were all named to the prestigious list.

Hart and Watson had been named to the preseason list of 50 players, as well, while Martin is an addition.

Hart is currently leading the Big East in scoring at 19.8 points per game, and is fourth in the conference in rebounding with 6.7 per game.

Watson currently leads the nation in assists at 9.0 per game, a full assist better than UCLA’s Lonzo Ball, who sits in second place.

Martin led Butler to some big nonconference wins, leading the Bulldogs in scoring against Arizona, Utah, Cincinnati, and Indiana. He currently sits at 10th in the Big East in scoring at 16.8 points per game.

The Wooden Award will release a list of 20 in February before releasing the final ballot in March and awarding the winner in April.
