Brian Bowen of Saginaw, Michigan is the top player in the state of Michigan and a Top 20 player in the Class of 2017. On Wednesday night, Bowen took to Twitter to announce his top six schools, and Creighton University has made the cut.

The Bluejays join North Carolina State, UCLA, Michigan State, Arizona and Texas in Bowen’s ‘final six,’ which were issued out via Bowen’s personal Twitter account.

At this juncture, it’s not surprising that the Spartans are among Bowen’s choices. MSU leads in the Crystal Ball predictions for Bowen’s school of choice, and in fact it’s not particularly close. 14 picks have been made, and 14 choices are for Tom Izzo and the Spartans.

Nonetheless, it’s promising that Bowen thinks so highly of Greg McDermott and the Bluejays program. They are among a pack of heavyweights from the midwest, southeast and west coast, especially the Spartans, Bruins and Wildcats.

As previously mentioned, Bowen is a five-star recruit via 247Sports’ recruiting services. He is ranked 17th in the country and fourth at his position behind Washington commit Michael Porter Jr., Kevin Knox and Troy Brown.
