While VIllanova’s class of 2017 is a bit more barren than other Big East squads at the moment, it seems as if it will just be a matter of time before the reigning National Champions start to fill out their roster.
On Tuesday afternoon, Baltimore’s Darryl Morsell tweeted that the Wildcats were in his final five schools.
Thank you to all the schools that took there time to recruit me. But I will be moving forward with these 5 schools pic.twitter.com/uN725w82Sx

Jay Wright has had success recruiting in the Baltimore area in years past, as Daniel Ochefu, Josh Hart, Phil Booth and Kris Jenkins all hail from the area.
Morsell is on the rise, as well. In Scout’s most recent 2017 ranking, they had Morsell as a four-star recruit. Morsell hasn’t scheduled any visits yet, but that would be the next step in the recruiting process.
