Per Josh Gershon of Scout.com, Kobe Paras has just committed to Creighton University.
Former #UCLA signee Kobe Paras has committed to #Creighton.

Paras, as Gershon tweets, was a former UCLA Bruins signee but withdrew due to academic issues last month. Weeks later, it appears that all might be clear for Paras, a standout shooting guard originally from the Philippines, to join the Bluejays. Paras was set to join the Class of 2016 for UCLA so one should expect Paras to suit up for Creighton, if all goes well, later this fall.
Paras represented his home country in the SEABA U16 Championship back in 2013 where the team won a gold medal in the event. He also took part in the FIBA Asia U18 3x3 championship in which his team won gold as well. He is a three-star recruit via 247Sports and ranks highest on Scout where he is listed as a four-star recruit.
He would join Davion Mintz as incoming freshmen for the Jays this coming season if and when he sees the floor.
Best of luck to Kobe Paras, whose name draws quite a fun thought:
