Former Georgetown guard Allen Iverson elected to Naismith Hall of Fame

Iverson played at Georgetown from 1994-1996.

Former Georgetown Hoyas guard Allen Iverson is the newest Georgetown alum to be enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame.

Iverson, who played at Georgetown from 1994-96 went on to have a great NBA career with stops in Philadelphia, Denver, Detroit, and Memphis.

He is widely regarded as one of the best players of the past 20 years, known for his exciting play and flashy fashion sense.

The full class can be found below as it is announced. The inductions will take place the weekend of September 8 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
