The weekly college basketball polls are out, and to no surprise, the Big East remains a significant fixture.
Four teams from the conference are featured within the Top 20 of the respective Top 25 polls from the Associated Press and USA TODAY.
Villanova, Creighton, Xavier and Butler are the aforementioned programs found in the polls. ‘Nova retains their spot at the top of both polls after winning against La Salle and Notre Dame last week. The Bluejays meanwhile stay at No. 10 for the third straight week after another successful week of play.
Xavier and Butler meanwhile are 17th and 18th in both polls respectively too. The ‘Dawgs didn’t drop too far despite dropping a game to Indiana State earlier in the week, as they would later redeem themselves with an impressive home victory over Cincinnati. The Musketeers got back on track on Saturday with a victory over Utah that was preceded by a loss to Colorado.
