Big East Rookie Report: November 5-6

NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves at Oklahoma City Thunder Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome back to the Big East Rookie Report. It was a busy weekend. Let’s jump right in.

Henry Ellenson - Detroit Pistons

This will be Ellenson’s last appearance in the Big East Rookie Report for a week and a half, or so. That’s because he was sent to D-League Grand Rapids on Sunday, as least through Detroit’s road trip. It’s for the best for both the Pistons and Ellenson, who has only played six minutes in six games. This way he can get some playing time.

Kris Dunn - Minnesota Timberwolves

Dunn struggled from the field again in Minnesota’s 112-92 loss to Oklahoma City on Saturday. He shot 2-8 and scored seven points, but grabbed four rebounds. It’s obviously very early in Dunn’s NBA career and he’s just going through typical adjustments.

Semaj Christon - Oklahoma City Thunder

Christon continues to play well, scoring 10 points and dishing out five assists in Oklahoma City’s 112-92 victory over Dunn’s Timberwolves. Christon has appeared in all six Thunder games and is averaging nearly 17 minutes per game.

Daniel Ochefu - Washington Wizards
