Jays offer another EYBL guard

In Friday's roundup, we noted that Creighton sent scholarship offers to two guards on the EYBL circuit. Evidently, we glossed over a third one. 2018 point guard Javonte Smart was also offered by Greg McDermott on Friday afternoon, joining fellow EP Elite guards Brandon Rachal and Caleb Daniels. Smart has picked up previous offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor, LSU, Wake Forest and UMass, via Future150.

DePaul targets 2016 guard

On Friday evening, Chuba Ohams of Woodstock Academy was given an offer from Dave Leitao and the DePaul Blue Demons. Ohams is a two-star, 6-foot-7 shooting guard from New York per VerbalCommits who has already received offers from Providence, Iona, Duquesne, Long Island-Brooklyn and North Dakota as well. Interest, via VerbalCommits, is said to be "medium."

Hoya target set to make commitment next week

Tyler Foster is ready to commit. That's what Scout.com's Evan Daniels reported on Friday night and this has some Big East implications to it. The Georgetown Hoyas are in on the 2017 wing who will be visiting Virginia Commonwealth this weekend before making his decision. It's reportedly between the Hoyas, VCU, and the Dayton Flyers, with both of the latter coming from the Atlantic 10.

2017 forward Simms visits Georgetown

Aamir Simms, a Virginia native, took a visit to Georgetown on Saturday alongside his AAU coach. The two appeared to have quite a blast on campus, meeting Big John Thompson, among others.

Per his AAU coach, the two seemed to have a great visit.
