Water is wet. Grass is green. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. And the St. John's Red Storm have offered another highly touted recruit.
Mohamed Bamba, a prospect in the Class of 2017 who has been blowing up during the spring with his offer list, received a scholarship offer from the Red Storm on his visit to the Jamaica, Queens-based school Saturday. He has been growing and many more college programs will continue to go after a big name like him.
Bamba, along with 14 other players, was on campus today for the St. John's Elite Camp. PSA Cardinals head coach Terrence "Munich" Williams told Big East Coast Bias of the offer that the 6-foot-11 Norristown, Pennsylvania native, who also reigns as the No. 1 2017 prospect in the Keystone State.
The five-star power forward has fielded additional offers from Villanova, Arizona, UConn, Maryland, and Syracuse among others. Joining St. John's was Indiana, who also sent an offer his way on Saturday.
