Arkansas-Little Rock vs. DePaul: Game time, TV schedule, online streaming, and more

The DePaul Blue Demons will look to make it five wins in a row as they face Arkansas-Little Rock.

Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports

Don't look now, but the DePaul Blue Demons are on a winning streak. After starting the season 1-3, the Blue Demons have strung together four wins in a row and suddenly creeping towards a five-game winning streak. Although the winning streak has not moved DePaul from the cellar of the Big East standings, a win over Arkansas-Little Rock would help them get out of the bottom spot.

But the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans are not to be messed with. They are currently 7-0 right now, good for second in the Sun Belt. Thus far, the Trojans have wins against teams like San Diego State and Tulsa. None of their wins except for one have been blowouts, but the Trojans get it done of the defensive end as they have the No. 1 scoring defense in the country.

3 things to watch

1. Defensive struggle: Arkansas-Little Rock comes in as the top defensive team in the country as they only allow an average of 54.6 points per game. Although their offensive and rebounding stats aren't the best, the Trojans somehow get it done. It sort of reminds many fans of the Chicago Bulls under Tom Thibodeau as Chicago had to grind out wins with their defense. If this game stays in the 50's or 60's, Little Rock may be favored to win the game.

2. Another big game from Billy Garrett Jr?: Billy Garrett Jr. had another big game in DePaul's close win against Drake as he had 19 points to lead the Blue Demons in scoring again. Garrett Jr leads DePaul in scoring at 15.6 points per game and also leads the team in assists with 3.5 per game. He will need to have another big game for DePaul to win over the Trojans.

3. Road of Death for DePaul: This will be another tough game for DePaul in a stretch of the like over the next few weeks. After this matchup, Blue Demons still have to get past Stanford and then play a Northwestern team that is on fire right now. Then they play a solid George Washington team right before they dive into BIG EAST play. It's not a secret that DePaul could struggle in the BIG EAST again so they have to do well in nonconference play to get some confidence before the conference games.
