So, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports decided to take a trek over to visit the Seton Hall men's basketball team today. The Pirates are one of the bigger mysteries coming into the season after a tumultuous year in South Orange in 2014. One year later, head coach Kevin Willard will look to build off a year in which, through the bumpy roads, power forward Angel Delgado performed marvelously enough to win the Big East Rookie of the Year award.
Let's see what Rothstein had to say:
Seton Hall is deeper, longer, and bigger than they've been under Kevin Willard. Overall team skill level though is still in question. #shbb

Seton Hall made 213 three-point shots last year as a team. 159 of those shots were made by players who are no longer on the roster. #shbb

Palpable buzz at Seton Hall surrounding 6-7 freshman Veer Singh. Solid standstill shooter. High IQ. Not a great athlete. Blend guy. #shbb

The forgotten piece in Seton Hall's program is 6-7 PF Mike Nzei. Was a partial qualifier last year. Brings energy and intangibles. #shbb

Early prediction on Seton Hall's starting five: Isaiah Whitehead, Khadeen Carrington, Desi Rodriguez, Mike Nzei, Angel Delgado. #shbb

Will be interesting to see how Seton Hall's offense flows early w Isaiah Whitehead at PG. Terrific passer, but in entirely new role. #shbb

Nova, Gtown, Butler, & Xavier are clearly the top 4 teams in the Big East. SHU in that next tier. Could finish anywhere bw 5 & 10. #shbb

Desi Rodriguez also shifting to a new role this year for Seton Hall. Will be on the wing instead of inside. Pirates have length. #shbb
