Malachi Richardson, a five-star guard and 2015 Villanova prospect, will announce his college decision on Friday, the wing player announced Wednesday via Twitter.

Richardson, a Hamilton, NJ native by way of Trenton Catholic, recently narrowed his list of colleges to six schools. Villanova, Syracuse, Rutgers, Arizona, Indiana and Connecticut are his final choices. Richardson's last college visit was to Syracuse in late November.

The 6-foot-6, 190 pounder is ranked No. 12 on ESPN's 2015 Top 60, rated the No. 16 prospect by the 247Composite and marked at No. 17 for Scout's list. He recently told SNY TV about what's pulling him toward Villanova.
"Jay Wright had a big impact on me," Richardson said. "He’s a great coach, and I loved his system, and the Villanova pride."
In July's Nike EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam, Richardson averaged 16 points in seven games. Richardson plays on Team Final, the same squad as 2014 Villanova commit, Mikal Bridges. Richardson and Bridges helped lead Team Final to the semifinals of the tournament.
