The win was Kentucky's third consecutive win over its in-state rival. Louisville once again struggled to score in the half court offense and after foul trouble kept most of the front court depth on the bench, the Cardinals simply had no answer for freakish athletes Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
