Former Creighton Bluejay Doug McDermott will be in Chicago for at least one more season following this one, as the team announced they had picked up his third-year option.
McDermott, who finished his career at Creighton fifth on the NCAA's all-time scoring list, has averaged 3.3 points per game thus far in 38 career games with the Chicago Bulls.
