Five-star recruit Thon Maker, who is in the Class of 2016, has a set up three different unofficial visits according to Adam Zagoria.
On Monday, Thon visited Kansas, and Tuesday he will visit Missouri, and on June 30th he will visit Duke.
Georgetown, who is currently courting the No. 1 recruit in the 2016 class, have not been contacting him as much according to Maker himself who informed us at Big East Coast Bias when asked about who he has been keeping in contact with.
Maker, who has already been offered by Duke, Kansas, and Missouri, will get to see these schools and what they are like.
SNYTV reported earlier that Maker is targeting January to make a decision about whether or not to move up to Class of 2015, or stay in 2016. He really likes the Class of 2016, but he does get excited when thinking about going to college a year early as well. Of course, Maker can still enter the 2016 NBA Draft if he reclassifies, but he is still carefully doing his due diligence.
Ed Smith, who is Maker's guardian, told Big East Coast Bias that around September is when he might decide to shut it down and allow Maker to relax. This is because he will have a busy July with AAU play, and some of the tournaments that he has coming up.
The uncertainity of the decison wheather to move up or is not is a big decision, but will not impact his recruitment at all because he is thought to be the top player not only in the Class of 2016, but the Class of 2015 as well.
