BlogPoll Top 25 Ballot - We Had Three Ranked Teams On Our Ballot Last Week

The Big East has three ranked teams on my BlogPoll Top 25 ballot, but hey, we had it like that last week.

Here's my BlogPoll Top 25 ballot following week five of the college football season. In the comments below, feel free to tell me where I'm crazy. Please note a few things.

  • I had Cincinnati ranked last week. So, the rest of you that rank them this week following a win over Virginia Tech are merely playing catch up to me.
  • I continue to give Western Kentucky the respect the Hilltoppers deserve. They've dominated lesser opponents, played respectably against the nation's best team, and won on Saturday at Arkansas State with their best defender suspended due to a hit in the previous game.
  • I left Florida State at #2, but I suspect I'll be flip-flopping Florida State and Oregon all year until one of them loses. I thought Oregon really looked bored for stretches against Washington State. On the flip side, I was still impressed that Florida State played as well as it did coming off of last week's crazed environment against Clemson. Both teams have issues, but they're the primary competition to play Alabama in the title game.
