The Big East preseason media poll will officially be released this morning at 8:55, just before the formal beginning of Big East Media Day. According to CBS' Brett McMurphy, in this year's poll, Louisville will be the preseason favorite to win the conference just a year removed from being the media's preseason choice to finish last. South Florida will be second in the preseason media poll, a pick that has picked up steam over the summer once Phil Steele projected the Bulls to win the Big East in his 2012 college football preview magazine.
New Big East football member Temple will be last in the media poll. We've noted before that Temple is in a much better position to contend in the long run than it was five years ago. Nevertheless, there seems to be a consensus that with the personnel losses from last year's bowl-winning team, it's a bit much to expect the Owls to compete in year one.
You can view the complete poll after the jump.
