The season is rapidly coming to an end with tonight's Big East Tournament final pitting Louisville against Cincinnati. This is not the first time Louisville and Cincinnati have met in the final of a conference tournament. In 1981, Louisville and Cincinnati squared off in the finals of the Metro Conference Tournament, with Cincinnati winning. The two teams met once before, with Cincinnati beating Louisville in Cincinnati 60-56.
