Big East Basketball Statistical Leaders: Kevin Jones Leads In Scoring, Rebounding For Another Week

After another week of basketball you shouldn't be surprised that West Virginia's Kevin Jones remains at the top of the standings in the Big East in scoring and rebounding. Darius Johnson-Odom from Marquette moved back into the second slot in scoring while Cleveland Melvin from DePaul is back in third spot this week in scoring.

On the team side of things, Louisville regained the leading in points per possession defense this week while Georgetown slipped to second place. Syracuse remains the leader in points per possession offense and turnover margin. The Orange are 14th in the conference in rebound margin, while Pittsburgh at 4-9 in the league remains the leader in the category, although their number has come down dramatically since the beginning of the season.

Overall Non-Conference Record 2011-2012: 154-46 (.770), Vs. Top 25: 8-14 (.364).
