After another week of Big East basketball play, Kevin Jones retained his conference lead in scoring and rebounding. Darius Johnson-Odom of the Marquette Golden Eagles fell from second to third in scoring as Maalik Wayns of the Villanova Wildcats jumped up into second place.

Despite slipping in both categories, the Syracuse Orange still lead the conference in points per possession offense and defense. The surprising South Florida Bulls have a 5-2 Big East record. Part of what's helped the Bulls out to this start is their free throw percentage of 70.8%, tied for second in the conference. Despite losing 8 games in a row, the Pittsburgh Panthers continue to dominate the conference in rebounding margin.
