Reggie Murphy Commits to TCU

Lost in all the realignment talk is that things are still going on besides realignment talk. I can't imagine having to recruit during this mess but TCU apparently is capable. The Horned Frogs just picked up their first 2012 basketball commitment from Reggie Murphy, a 6-9, 265 pound power forward from Antelope Valley College. He plans on signing early to TCU.

Murphy visited TCU over the weekend was impressed by the school, coaches and most importantly from where we are sitting, a chance at playing in the Big East.

Murphy played for Westchester High School in Los Angeles and was a part of two city and state championships teams. He originally signed with Washington State out of high school before transferring to Casper College and then to Antelope Valley for his Sophomore year. He scored 5.6 points per game, had 4 rebounds per game and .43 blocks per game in 14 games at Casper College last season.
