No. 10 Connecticut 77, Holy Cross 40: There were no surprises in this game. UConn was playing their first game in 10 days but didn't show any rust on Sunday at the XL Center after the first ten minutes of the contest. An 18-0 first half run by the Huskies blew the game wide open. Freshman center Andre Drummond led the way with a career-high 24 points. He also had eight rebounds and five blocks, which extended his conference lead in the category. Jeremy Lamb and Alex Oriakhi also reached double figures in scoring for the Huskies. Shabazz Napier had 13 assists for UConn while the Crusaders as a team only had six. Holy Cross was held to just 26.2% shooting for the game. UConn is now 13-20 all-time against Holy Cross, but has won the last five straight meetings.

Seton Hall 80, Mercer 77, OT: Seton Hall defeated Mercer in overtime on Sunday. Seton Hall led by as many as 13 in the first half, but the Bears cut into the lead and only trailed by two points at halftime. Mercer took a lead in the second half with 10:58 to play. The teams traded the lead at times down the stretch. Mercer's Justin Cecil led the Bears with 18 points. He hit a three-pointer with 24 seconds left to send the game to overtime. Herb Pope and Jordan Theodore led Seton Hall past the Bears in the extra period for the win. Pope, the Big East's scoring and rebounding leader had 24 points and 17 rebounds. Fuquan Edwin, who leads the Big East in steals, had eight for the game to go with his 15 points, 7 rebounds and an assist.
