PrintThe 2011-2012 basketball season kicked off on Nov. 7 with a comeback win by St. John's against William & Mary. The Red Storm had another comeback win against Lehigh two days later. Yesterday, the college basketball season began in earnest with 131 games on the slate. The Big East won all of their Friday games and the six games today. The Big East is now 16-0 on the young season. Although the competition hasn't been the toughest, that's still an impressive start for a league that landed 11 NCAA bids last season.
