Big East Basketball Has Undefeated First Week
The 2011-2012 basketball season kicked off on Nov. 7 with a comeback win by St. John's against William & Mary. The Red Storm had another comeback win against Lehigh two days later. Yesterday, the college basketball season began in earnest with 131 games on the slate. The Big East won all of their Friday games and the six games today. The Big East is now 16-0 on the young season. Although the competition hasn't been the toughest, that's still an impressive start for a league that landed 11 NCAA bids last season.

Herb Pope was a beast
He is going to dominate everyone this year if Theodore gets him the ball consistently. As Bobby Gonzalez once said, “Their are three things that are certain in life: Death, taxes, and a Herb Pope Double Double”
